The author of this document is a former slave woman.

The intended reader was white people but specifically white women

The 1st crime was owning someone of a different color.

According to the document, the day for a slave woman was full of work and even when they were tired, they could not complain or take a rest.

Religion/God/Faith is used this document as a means to attack the white people and to establish their faith. They also use religion to ask why the white people would do this when their God believes in another way.
6) What specific parts of the document would appeal to women, and why?
The part in which she describes taking care of their baby would appeal to women because there is that loving and care that comes with caring for a baby. Since they can relate to the slave woman about these things, it appeals to the white and the black women
7) How effective do you think this document would be in changing opinion, and why?
Very effective it has a lot of pathos in it that appeals to the reader and convinces them that slavery is bad. I also think that this document is very effective because it talks about the horrors of slavery very vividly and the hoping and wishing and begging of the slaves that slavery would end.

The image above has a negro woman praying to God or whoever she believes in. It is obvious she is praying because she has a book in her hand and since they were not allowed to learn to read, one can assume it is the bible.
