Why should the Americans win?
I believe that the Americans should win because they know what they are fighting for. With such a drive, they won't stop until they win. They do not have the best military or navy but because they have the resolve that allows them to continue even when all hope is lost. Also, they have home court advantage because the war is being fought on their turf. If they needed supplies, they could easily get it. The colonists know where it was safe and where it wasn't. The bystanders who weren't fighting in the war but was also for independence could easily house the soldiers and give them food. They also were not trained like the British. They didn't have a set technique that they had to to follow, so they used guerrilla warfare. They were supported all the way by their fellow colonists and for these reason, the Americans should win
Why should the British win?
The British should win because they have the best army and navy. In their army, the soldiers are the most well trained. Britain also had the largest and the most power navy so the if the colonists tried to escape through the seas, they could not. The British also had the support of the Loyalists in America. This means that the British was not fight against the entire country. If they needed supplies or shelter, they could count on the loyalists to help them. The British also had a army who was willing to fight while the Americans did not. The British had a easy time because the Americans continuously abandoned the army and retreated at the battles. It should be a easy win for the British because of sheer size and power.
